Study the skills for this growing career field by completing Remington College’s associate degree program in Dental Hygiene.* In as few as 24 months you can earn your degree and prepare to take the NBDHE Exam as well as any state or regional exams.* Remington College covers the NBDHE exam costs, and although certain restrictions apply, this can save you over $1200 in fees. Dental Hygiene classes start twice a year, January and July. A maximum of 24 students are accepted each start. We only offer daytime classes for Dental Hygiene.

Dental hygienists are licensed oral health professionals who focus on preventing and treating oral diseases –both to protect teeth and gums and to protect patients' total health. They are graduates of accredited dental hygiene education programs in colleges and universities and must take written and clinical exams before they are allowed to practice. The Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) credential identifies a dental hygienist as a licensed oral health professional. State licensure requirements typically indicate that a dental hygienist must graduate from an accredited dental hygiene education program and successfully pass a national written examination and a state or regional clinical examination. The objective of this Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as dental hygienists in a dental office.
